(Vietnam Tourism News) On 31th May, the Provincial Standing of People’s Committee had a meeting and listened to the Fansipan Sapa Teleferic Tourism Service Ltd., Co report the investment project of building the complex of cultural tourism, teleferic service, entertainment and Fansipan Sapa hotel in Sapa district.
The Fansipan Sapa Teleferic Tourism Service Ltd., Co is a member of Ba Na Teleferic Service Joint Stock Company belonging to the Sun Group Corporation – the company has had some representative building in Vietnam such as: Ba Na hill, Da Nang Intercontinental Hotel, Da Nang Novotel Hotel, the Sun Villas luxury resort in My Khe beach – Da Nang, Sun City office building in Hanoi, the complex of West Lake View apartments, hotels and senior services.
With the project in Sapa, Sun Group’s investment will be divided into 2 periods. The first period is the system of teleferic and the complex of cultural tourism. It’s expected to commence in 2013 and complete in 2014. The second period is the system of hotels and recreation area.
The objective of this project is to establish a complex of modern and luxury tourist base in Sapa and create more tourism products for Sapa. This is the priority construction so that the Chairman of Provincial People’s Community decided to set up the descriptor group which is managed by the director of the Department of Planning and Investment. The group is responsible to support and go along with the investor for implementing procedures, handling difficulties and problems during the process of project implementation.
